National Junior Honor Society

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) in a Catholic school setting holds a unique significance, as it not only recognizes academic excellence but also emphasizes the importance of moral integrity and service rooted in faith. Students selected for NJHS demonstrate leadership, character, and a commitment to serving both their school and the wider community. In a Catholic school, these values are further strengthened by the teachings of Christ, encouraging students to live out their faith through their actions, showing compassion and respect for others. Membership in NJHS in a Catholic environment inspires students to lead with humility and grace, fostering a deeper sense of responsibility as young leaders shaped by Catholic values.

Mission

The students must meet the five pillars of the NJHS. Those pillars are: character, citizenship, leadership, service and scholarship.

It is possible for the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students to become part of the National Junior Honor Society.

Events

Throughout the school year, there are many opportunities that our students complete service projects for the benefit of others.
